Sorry for the redundancy, as I assume you’ve been asked this before, but is there a storyline/strip in the works where we find out whether or not Aaron makes any money off of his investicomics nonsense? I know Rich Johnston (claims he) does, so it isn’t outside the realm of possibility. Inquiring mind wants to know!
(Cue the comment by Rich in 3… 2… )
It’s like the eye of Sauron…
I made money on three comics I bought a chunk of.
Elseworlds Eighty Page Giant. Captain America #25. The Obama Spidey.
I agree with Brightest Day. I’ve been reading Green Lantern since it relaunched with Vol. 3 in the 90’s and have LOVED every bit of Hal’s return since Rebirth. But something about Blackest Night and now Brightest Day have made me drop it. I think it’s the over saturation of rings to be honest. After the Kyle era in which we had no lanterns we now have so many that the concept has truly lost any of the charm it once had. Which is a shame because the two core books were some of my favourite reads for a couple years there…
Um, I thought they killed and brought back a baby bird in the first four pages to establish that white lantern rings can bring back the dead. Y’know, more of an establishment of powers and, to some extent, the stake than and establishment of theme
