I’m fine with whatever, you know, because DC’s gotta do what they gotta do, but I thought the new-look Alfred was a bit much.

I think the “love kills slowly” motif was originally supposed to be a tattoo, and then they punked out and made it a shirt instead.

  2. Frowny says:

Strangely enough, I saw a picture of one of Tiger’s affairs in a bikini covered in the same graphic, so that’s disappointing to see.

    Alfred should never be ‘hip.’

    Trepanation!

Sir, how dare your single-panel comic use a word I have to look up!

  4. Zack says:

I actually had to double check that that was a changed image. It wouldn’t wicked surprise me if DC went the Ed Hardy route. Extreme shit is reallllll.
Btw, Sparks took out the energy,uh,stuff that was in it. And people I know still drink it.
    For the taste.

  5. Oh, good Lord, that’s not REALLY Alfred is it?

  6. Christopher says:

I have to say for a contemporary ex-British Army Alfred the bushy ‘stache/tattoos combo look is a valid one, except maybe for the above the collar neck part of the tattoo I’m not sure that would be permitted unless they’re going for ‘ex-special forces’ rather than ‘former intelligence agent’.

Wow. E1 is going to be *awesome*. I mean, this is going to be “makes Blackest Night look like nothing” awesome.

    JMS on “Superman”?!?!?!?!???

Wow. This is going to be “possibly more awesome than Image United” awesome, and “Image United” is just freakin’ amazingly awesome.

    I mean, wow. Just…..awesome.

-pretty sure everybody can detect sarcasm……especially AWESOME sarcasm.

  8. Okay, the original article Alfred makes a little more sense. I don’t know though, I still like Alfred best when he’s a mix of Jeeves and Hobson.

Nice one with the John Gosselin looking Ed Hardy wearing Alfred. I see what you did there.
