Kevin, that is what I was wondering as I read it. I think it’s to keep the candy.
I going to go with “wants to keep the candy”. Aaron is childish and sophmoric. He will get into fights with kids over bad event comics, (such as when he punched a 4 year old re: “Cap Wolf”). And, he might creep out women. But, a kid would be about his level, unless he *wanted* to scare the kid off.
