I’m with them on this one. I say Robbie was much more interesting as minor character Speedball. Now, he’s like some awful throwback to the 90s. Like Stryfe or Ahab or one of those awful x-men villians had “relations” with Spawn and vomited up Penance in the morning.
Daken – we really need yet another Wolverine knock-off when all of his memories were returned? This was the big reveal after teasing us for about 30 years of Wolverine’s sordid past? He had a son who hated him? How can I get my fan-fic stories published by Marvel? I have one where Spider-Man makes a deal with Loki to give up his marriage in return for saving Aunt May’s life. Ha! That’s just ridiculous, no one would ever buy that.
And, one last thing, I can totally see including the Sentry in this list, but i sort of, kind of, am interested in his story and where they are going with him. I don’t think I would ever buy a Sentry comic, but as a member of a group comic, I find his strangeness adds an interesting element. Of course, it’s too easy for the writer to just send in the Sentry to halt whatever conflict is going on, but other than that, he’s interesting to me.
I have to voice support for Stephanie Brown. I <3 her. Everyone else? Truesay.
Oooh, I so almost got it. I just needed “Sentry” and I woulda had it.
Penance was worth it purely for what Dan Slott did to Speedball’s cat.
God help me, but I don’t hate Sexual Harassment Wolverine.
Haven’t been reading the new Batgirl book, but as Spoiler, Steph was a freaking great character.
