Wow. I mean, I love Old Timey The Rack, but the art just keeps getting better and better. Major props, gentlemen.
Those tags need to be used more!
All the colored line keeps making me think some characters are behind panes of glass. That first panel is like inverse atmospheric perspective.
I kind of see what you’re saying there, Les, but one of the things I mentioned in the script was how forced a lot of hotel lobby lighting is nowadays, and I included this picture to explain it. I think Joe conveyed that very well, myself.
I’m a huge fan of B&W in my comics, but I have to say that the new colouring job is really working with Birdie’s inks – top stuff.
Kevin, did you know something the rest of the world didn’t? Because this comic couldn’t have been more perfectly timed with the announcement Liefeld is taking over a corner of the DCU. What the hell were they thinking!?!
