DC announced they were dropping the Comics Code Authority yesterday, leaving our friend Mr. Andrews as its last champion. Heck, even Bongo quietly dropped it last year, paving the way for The Simpson/Futurama Murderspree Special.
Edited to add: Well, that’s the quickest that a punchline I’ve written became obsolete: Archie has dropped the CCA.
