Ah well. I do understand, though I think you sell yourselves short re other sites doing a better job.

Here's the thing about doing comic strips about "current events": they age very poorly. Go back and read the first two years of this strip and you'll see what I mean. At this time, we're more interested in creating a comic story that people can enjoy in the future just as well as they can today and doing our own thing. There are plenty of other comics and humor sites covering the material you discuss, and that's fine. They frequently do a better job with that than we would. Short version: We're more interested in being Parks and Recreation than South Park. We think there's room for all kinds of humor.

Don’t get me wrong, I just want to see what happens!! (Well, okay, I would love to see the characters reacting to things that have happened since the time the storyline takes place. Liefeld leaving DC in that flurry of OMGWTF tweets alone is something I want to see everyone’s reaction to!!)

And I do miss the older art style, but as I said, that’s my own taste. I think it’s the jaws getting all square and pointy that throws me off.

This storyline has been going on so long that the ART STYLE HAS ACTUALLY CHANGED since the beginning of it. O.O

(I actually miss the older art style, honestly, but that’s my own taste…)
