Because the artistic half of The Loneliest Astronauts ground control team is moving into a new apartment as you read this, today’s strip was written and drawn by Katie Cook. There are not enough superlatives to describe Katie’s art which manages to turn cute into a non-pejorative and it’s easy to see why she’s been tasked with so much work in the Star Wars universe. I look forward to everything that comes out of her pen, and thank her for pitching in during a time of need.

I should be back in the space fray next week assuming I don’t throw my back out or crush my drawing hand, guys. I have to say that this awesome art is really soothing the pain of moving, though. Thanks, Katie Cook! You are wonderful and keen.
Here’s hoping for an ongoing Church/Cook comic at Agreeable Comics someday. (Or at least a Rack guest strip by Cook, too) (And while I’m spelling out my dream Katie Cook projects on the internet, Cook on one of the Boom! Studios Muppet comics).
