A good start. I’ll be following it!
Like this a lot – I’ll definitely be following 😀
This is all-over impressive but I’m particularly blown out by the virtuoso hair. More please.
I like it, it’s intriguing. Nice, unfussy but focussed drawing. Good pacing. But I’m a little perplexed by the staging. Assuming the coffee cup and the i.d. bracelet (nice touch!) doesn’t move between panels, the background changes entirely when the girl with the buns appears. This means one of two things. Either the girl is a hallucination/imagining (cool), or there was a time/setting jump between panels (interesting, but kinda’ confusing. Regardless, this is a promising effort.
Well done, I’ll be back
Fantastic artwork. And as much as I’ve enjoyed Church’s writing on the other strips, you can damn well bet I’m in for this one.
The background didn’t change — the camera angle just shifted so that her body is now blocking the booth in panel three. Yezz.
^^What that Paul guy said. The background slowly rotates to reveal the room. I guess Elena’s at the rear wall. Either way, it matters little – snake squeezery!
