“Stardate 2262″? That’s not a stardate – that’s ordinary year.
TOS stardates should look like that: “Stardate XXXX.X”
For TOS, pick stardates between 1312.4 (first episode) and 5928.5 (last episode). In fact, since you’re gonna be referring to specific TOS episodes, you can get your stardates from them.
Not to mention there are several stardate calculators, so you can convert actual gregorian dates into proper dates

She was the class of 2262 AD on Earth. Stardates for citations are usually given without decimal points to indicate the general date range. Otherwise, it’d be like saying “She received the Pausch Citation For Computer Science at 4:30 in the afternoon on February 14th, 2271″ or what have you.
Can I infer from her wearing red rather than gold that she is doubling as Chief Engineer?
